Our Drying & Sweetening Technologies service offers innovative “Zero Energy” drying technology and fluid neutralization for several industrial sectors:
- pharmaceuticals,

Our production unit located in Cavaillon (South of France) manufactures desiccant briquettes adapted to the needs of each of our customers.
Newton's desiccant briquettes for drying and neutralizing hydrocarbons
Newton’s briquettes or solid walnut, made in France, are used to dry and neutralize hydrocarbons, solvents and liquefied gases. Their shape has been specially developed by the R&D department to optimize the drying of hydrocarbons while avoiding the formation of preferential paths.
They gradually dissolve by capturing the total water (free and dissolved) and the acid traces contained in the hydrocarbon, the gas or the solvent.
The brine generated by the consumption of briquettes in contact with water is then:
- reused as feedstock in other refinery units,
- neutralized with acid effluents generated by other units.

A range of products adapted to each customer
There are four types of briquettes or moulded pieces (pillow shaped or solid walnut) made from: calcium chloride (CaCl2), lithium chloride (LiCl), sodium hydroxide (NaOH), and potassium hydroxide (KOH). The choice of the type of pad is determined for each customer according to their specific needs.
All our products are registered under REACH REGULATION (EC) N°1907/2006
